From Fashion Studios to Rise Villas: Neha's Ingenious Atelier Journey
How a Delhi fashion designer built a turnkey interior design studio, from her first flat renovation in 2024 to villas at Rise Resort Residency.

How a fashion designer from Delhi built a turnkey interior design studio, one home at a time.
Where it began: a designer's eye
Neha Indoria's story with design didn't start with floor plans. It started with fabric. She trained in fashion design in Delhi and spent almost five years in the fashion industry, learning colour, texture, proportion and detail, and above all how to turn someone's personality into something they can live in every day.
Those years shaped the way she still works: listen first, then design around the person.
A pause, and a new direction
After marriage, Neha took a break from work. When she returned, it was to a different kind of canvas. She began her career in home interiors with a Delhi-based architect, and that experience gave her a grounding in space planning, materials, site coordination and the realities of building.
The move from fashion to homes felt natural. The questions were the same: How will this be used? How should it feel? What makes it yours? Only the scale had changed.
9 January 2024: Ingenious Atelier is born
On 9 January 2024, Neha started Ingenious Atelier. The same year she completed her first solo assignment: the full renovation of a flat, from planning to handover.
That project set the studio's approach. Treat every home as a whole, not a set of separate rooms, and stay involved from the first sketch to the last fitting.
Growing through Noida's homes
Word spread. More flat renovations followed across Noida, each one adding to the team's experience with different layouts, budgets and family needs. Soon the studio moved on from apartments to independent houses and kothis in Noida, larger projects with more structural work and more room to create something unique.
2025: the Rise Villas breakthrough
In 2025 came the studio's breakthrough: its first project at Rise Resort Residency (Rise Villas).

Today Ingenious Atelier takes on full turnkey projects in Rise Villas of 2,495 sq ft and 3,070 sq ft, covering every stage:
Design: 2D layouts, furniture planning and 3D visualisation, so clients can see their home before anything is built
Civil works: structural changes, plus internal and external plastering
Services: plumbing and electrical
Ceilings and lighting: false ceilings and lighting design
Woodwork: wardrobes, kitchens and custom joinery
Flooring and finishes: through to final handover
One studio, one point of contact, from concept to keys.
What stays the same
From a single flat in 2024 to multiple villas today, the philosophy hasn't changed: curiosity, creativity and craftsmanship. Every corner of a home tells a story, and Neha's job is to make sure it's yours.
